About Ethical Editorial™
We believe that business can be a force for good. Ethical Editorial™ exists to amplify the voices of those who are proving it — one story, one factory, one designer at a time.
Our Mission
Fashion was once an art form with genuine worth — built on standards, craft, and respect for the people who made it. Somewhere along the way, much of the industry traded that for speed and volume. Ethical Editorial™ was founded to help restore it — not as nostalgia, but as a conscious and deliberate choice for the future.
We are a media platform covering ethical fashion and business — connecting designers, manufacturers, and conscious consumers around a single question: what does it actually take to make clothing responsibly, and who is already doing it right?
What “Ethical” Means to Us
We use this word carefully, and consistently, across everything we publish. To us, ethical fashion means:
- Production under standardized labor conditions, with genuine corporate social responsibility
- Natural, breathable materials — not synthetic shortcuts
- Pollution-free production processes
- A zero-waste business model
If a brand, factory, or garment doesn’t meet this standard, we don’t call it ethical — no matter how the marketing reads.
Who We Are
Alexandra Cantarelli is the founder and editor-in-chief of Ethical Editorial™, and CEO of Cantarelli, an ethical fashion brand produced in standardized European facilities using natural materials. Third generation in her family’s fashion business, she has led an international campaign for ethical fashion since 2017, through events, media appearances, and industry awards. Her perspective on this platform is not theoretical — it is built through years of direct involvement in manufacturing, international partnerships, and the realities behind one of Europe’s most challenged industries.
Ethical Editorial™ also publishes contributing voices from across the industry, each writing under their own byline, within the same editorial standard.
