My name is Mikaela, and I am the founder and creative director of Zice Compass, a founder marketing startup helping business leaders become the face of their brands by communicating their ideas, values, and vision through honest human storytelling. Through these experiences, I recognized a common challenge: most founders do not struggle with ideas, they struggle with clarity. They often know their industry inside out but find it difficult to communicate their thinking, values, and vision in a way that feels natural and authentic. I believe people connect with people long before they connect with products. Behind every brand is a human being with a story, a set of values, and a reason for building what they build. My writing explores the people, decisions, and experiences behind remarkable brands, uncovering the human side of entrepreneurship that is often hidden behind polished profiles and company messaging. I am also the creator of Zice Compass by Mikaela, a LinkedIn newsletter where every week I take one real founder marketing story and turn it into one Golden Rule for founders who want to show up publicly in a way that actually sounds like them.
